Lady Dunn

Picture
She was an iconic Canadian personality whose visits to Wawa were fleeting and few.  However the tales told and the Hospital legacy will always be a part of Wawa' rich lore and healthy culture.

Memories of Wawa's Lady Dunn will stay with us as long as the remains of the solid stone fence around the Eagle's Nest property, built by Algoma Ore employees to protect her energetic poodles from curious black bears.

No doubt the good citizens of St. Andrews, New Brunswick have many more tales to tell of their Lady Beaverbrook.
