Alex Ross

Picture
Alex Ross is one of those characters that I think would have made a popular CBC TV series.

My research often leads me to read through old newspaper articles.  Both the Sault Star and the Toronto Star have been around for a very long time.  During the 1920's there was a great interest in the adventurous and exciting lives of those living in the wilds of Northern Algoma.  Alex Ross was interviewed on a regular basis.

As one of the only citizens of the virtual ghost town of Wawa City, Alex's colourful tales of ravenous wolves, thunderous wild fires and frosty Christmas' past were extremely popular to read...even today!
