The 2012 Heritage Doors were initially designed to focus on the Lion's Beachfront property on Wawa Lake. If any Heritage Doors were to sit overlooking Wawa Lake, they must include Keith Messenger.
As Lori and I were deciding which folks to include in the 2012 Door project, I heard that Mr. Keith Messenger had passed away. A number of long time Wawa citizens commented on his passing and reflected on the man and the crucial service he provided to young mothers, families and local businesses. For a town without "a road out", Mr. Messenter was literally a life saver.
